I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. I then went on to obtain my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. I have been working as a therapist for several years. Prior to that, I worked in various roles as a social worker. The ones where I gained the most knowledge and experience were through the Department of Child Safety, crisis intervention with the Phoenix Fire Department and an inpatient psychiatric center for juveniles. My experiences lead me to understand the importance of healing and discover the lack of mental health services available. It is my passion to assist those on the journey of growth and self-love. My primary speciality is childhood trauma. I commonly treat anxiety, PTSD, depression, ADHD, conduct disorders and adjustment disorders. I typically use a combination of CBT and motivational interviewing, although treatment is tailored to each client’s needs. I hope understanding my background can allow prospective clients to feel comfortable taking the step towards treatment.
